I'm Mackenzie, a food and lifestyle photographer and stylist based in Nashville, TN, as well as the creator of the food and lifestyle blog, Feast & Fable. When I’m not busy foraging for props, developing recipes and writing for the blog, you can find me photographing, styling and creating scenes for brands, publications and individuals both in Nashville and across the U.S.

The way I see it, photography is all about capturing the light within. It’s about celebrating what makes us come alive - the spaces we build, the dishes we create, the work we feel called to do - through simple, artful composition. I love creating scenes and atmospheres that can be felt through a photograph. I want you to be able to taste the icing on the cake, feel the energy in a room and come to know a person through their smile alone.

Whether I’m styling on set or working behind the camera, I always bring both hats to the job, offering a photographer’s eye to set design and a stylist’s eye to a photography session.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing for brands like EXPRESS, Dunkin Donuts, Tillamook, Parthenon Public Relations and the Andrews Agency as well as styling for TV, video and photography clients like Today in Nashville, Gamma Blast Studios, Hardees, Green Door Gourmet and for publishers like Workman and Post Hill Press.

Our team has worked with Mackenzie on a variety of projects, ranging from lifestyle photography, event/society photography and freelance writing projects. She is such a valuable go-to person for us, always providing us with exceptional work. She’s a dream to work with on the coordination of projects – asking insightful questions to ensure the best execution, following through with high-quality work and offering timely follow-up every step of the way. Her photos are top-notch, always capturing the essence of the project or event, and her writing brings life to the page. While I selfishly would love to keep her all to myself, I would highly recommend anyone to work with Mackenzie on photography and writing projects.
